CPL Talk: Commissioner eager to raise awareness of the league
"We’re still a really young league and not enough people know about us," Mark Noonan told TFC Republic in a wide-ranging interview.
Commissioner Mark Noonan is proud of how far the Canadian Premier League has come in a very short period of time, but he insists there's still plenty of progress for the league to make as it kicks off its sixth season this weekend.
One of the big items on his to-do list is to improve the CPL's profile both on a local and national level, and get more major media outlets covering the league.
“[We need to] grow the awareness of the CPL and give people reasons to care. We’re still a really young league and not enough people know about us," Noonan told TFC Republic.
