Tani Oluwaseyi set to play vs. Toronto FC for 1st time

Minnesota United forward Tani Oluwaseyi is on an absolute tear right now.

Oluwaseyi, a 24-year-old from Mississauga, Ont., has five goals and two assists in six MLS appearances this season, and is riding a four-game scoring streak. Last month, he scored his first goal for Canada in 11 international appearances in a 2-1 win over the United States at the Concacaf Nations League.

Oluwaseyi is expected to play his first ever game at BMO Field when Toronto FC hosts Minnesota on Saturday (2:30 p.m. ET/Apple TV).

In this one-on-one interview with TFC Republic, Oluwaseyi discusses his upcoming debut at BMO Field, his friendships with Toronto FC's Luka Gavran and Theo Corbeanu, the remarkable 2025 season he's having with Minnesota, scoring his first goal for Canada, and more.
