Toronto FC is looking to recover this weekend after suffering back-to-back losses for the first time this season.
Last week's 4-0 road defeat to the Vancouver Whitecaps just underlined the fact that Toronto (3-3-1) remains a work in progress as it continues to rebuild after a disastrous 2023 campaign.
"We haven't been able to get a consistent, cohesive lineup where you're getting the same guys consistently in positions that matter. ... I think that's a big part of where this team needs to get to. ... We just need that bit of time. So, this week [it's been] back to basics," coach John Herdman said.
