After a surprisingly strong start to the MLS season, Toronto FC has lost its way and fallen back into some of its old bad habits.
TFC showed plenty of spirit in twice coming from a goal down to tie things up, but ultimately came up short in a 3-2 defeat to Charlotte FC at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday night.
Second half substitute Prince Owusu bagged a brace for Toronto (3-4-1) who gave up the winning goal with five minutes left in regulation.
After beginning the year by taking 10 points and recording four clean sheets in their first five games, the Reds have now conceded 10 times in their last three outings and have lost three in a row for the first time under John Herdman.
