Deybi Flores the embodiment of Toronto FC's newfound intensity

Deybi Flores is a man of few words.

He rarely speaks to the media, preferring to do his talking on the pitch. And the veteran midfielder had plenty to say with his man-of-the-match effort for Toronto FC last weekend vs. Minnesota United.

Flores played a key role for Toronto as it earned its second shutout in three games, helping the back line to completely shut down Minnesota forwards Tani Oluwaseyi and Kelvin Yeboah. The duo had nine goals between them, and Oluwaseyi was riding a four-match scoring streak ahead of the Loons’ visit to BMO Field.
