Canada to play France in June ahead of Copa América

Canada Soccer announced on Tuesday that the Canadian men’s team will play 2022 FIFA World Cup finalist France in an international friendly during June’s international window.
Canada and France will square off on June 9 at the Matmut Atlantique Stadium in Bordeaux, just three days after the Canadians meet the Netherlands in Rotterdam in another high-profile friendly.
Canada is No. 49 in the current FIFA world rankings, while France is No. 2.
