TFC quarterly report: Where do things stand with the Reds?
We're nine matches into the 34-game MLS regular season – just over a quarter of the way through the campaign – and it’s fair to say Toronto FC remains a work in progress under first-year coach Robin Fraser.
Toronto (1-4-4) began the year with a credible draw away to D.C. United but then lost its next four in a row. The team managed to get back on track with three straight draws before winning its first match of the campaign last week on the road vs. Real Salt Lake.
The victory was just reward for a side that was trending in the right direction over the previous weeks. But it won’t mean anything unless TFC can build upon it and start piling up some wins in order to climb up the ladder and get into the playoff zone in the Eastern Conference.
Here's where things stand with Toronto FC with a quarter of the MLS season in the books.
