Canada vs. Argentina: What you need to know

After a long time on the road, the Canadian women's team has finally returned home this month for a two-game friendly series vs. Argentina.

These games will be Casey Stoney’s first on home soil since her appointment as Canada's new coach in January. They'll also be her team's first home games since battling to a 1-1 draw against Mexico at BMO Field last June.

The Canadians previously played in B.C. in December 2023 when they took on Australia in a pair of friendlies in Langford and Vancouver in captain Christine Sinclair's final two games for the national team.

Here’s what you need to know about Friday's match between Canada and Argentina at BC Place (10:30 p.m. ET/OneSoccer).
