Playing with a lead proving to be elusive for TFC this season
Toronto FC has been ahead in games for a grand total of 19 minutes this season, or just four per cent of the time.

Nineteen minutes.
That’s how long Toronto FC has been in the lead through the first six games of the 2025 MLS season. Just 19 minutes (out of 540 total minutes), or just four per cent of the time. For the other 521 minutes, the Reds have either been on level terms or playing from behind.
TFC had to twice come back from a goal down in the season opener to earn a 2-2 draw away to D.C. United. An opening goal by César Araújo in the 33rd minute set Orlando City on its way to a 4-2 home win over Toronto the next week, which was followed by a 2-0 loss in FC Cincinnati.
