Toronto FC earns credible draw vs. Inter Miami
TFC came up with a valiant effort and collected a well-earned road point against the best team in MLS on Sunday night.

- Toronto FC 1 (Bernardeschi 45’+2’), Inter Miami 1 (Messi 45’+5’)
- TFC still looking for its 1st win of the season under Robin Fraser
- Maxime Dominguez comes off bench to make his debut for the Reds
Lionel Messi conjured up a little bit of magic but it still wasn’t enough to sink Toronto FC on Sunday night.
TFC put forth their best effort of the season and overcame a fabulous goal from Messi to earn a credible 1-1 draw vs. Inter Miami at Chase Stadium.
Federico Bernardeschi scored in a man-of-the-match effort (both offensively and defensively) for TFC, who also received quality contributions in attack from Lorenzo Insigne and Theo Corbeanu.
This latest result for Toronto (0-4-3) means it’s one of only three winless teams in MLS. The Reds have yet to record a win under new coach Robin Fraser with their previous victory coming last September when John Herdman was still in charge.
