Toronto FC has been idle since Aug. 8 when a 4-3 road loss to Inter Miami resulted in its elimination from the Leagues Cup in the round of 32.
But break time is now over for TFC who'll return to MLS action this weekend with a crucial road game vs. the Houston Dynamo.
The Reds will go into this match without wingback Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty (recently traded to CF Montreal) and South African forward Cassius Mailula (loaned to Wydad AC in Morocco).
