TFC Talk: Reds facing huge home match vs. D.C. United
Steven Goff of the Washington Post previews Saturday's game between Toronto FC and D.C. United.
Toronto FC returns to action following its midweek victory over Forge FC in the Canadian Championship when it hosts D.C. United on Saturday (7:30 p.m. ET/Apple TV & TSN).
D.C. (6-12-8) currently sits in last place in the Eastern Conference table, seven spots and seven points behind eighth-place Toronto, although they have a game in hand. Considering how tight the playoff race is in the East, this is a game that TFC can ill afford to lose, especially as D.C. is one of the teams trying to catch them.
Toronto and D.C. previously met on June 1 when they battled to a 2-2 draw at Audi Field.
TFC Republic spoke to Steven Goff of the Washington Post about Saturday's game between Toronto FC and D.C. United at BMO Field, D.C.'s season so far, and much more.
