Herdman: Getting something over the line 'will be tight'

If Toronto FC is going to complete a roster move before the closure of the summer transfer window it’ll have to be a last-minute deal.  

GM Jason Hernandez has until Aug. 8 to make any transfers or trades to strengthen TFC's squad ahead of the team's playoff push. After that, he’ll only be able to add free agent signings until the MLS roster free date of Sept. 14, at which point all clubs must submit their final 30-man roster for the remainder of the season.
