Canada sweeps two-game series against Australia

Buoyed by a second-half brace from Adriana Leon, the Canadian women’s team earned a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Australia on Tuesday in an international friendly at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium.
The Reds swept their two-game series against Australia, who will co-host the FIFA 2023 World Cup with New Zealand. The Canadians used these matches to acclimatize and prepare for next summer's World Cup. Canada is No. 7 in the current FIFA world rankings, five spots above Australia.
Leon ended up scoring all three goals for Canada against the Aussies, as she bagged the winner in her side’s 1-0 victory in Brisbane on Saturday.
