The Canadian men's team returns to action when it faces Bahrain in Isa Town on Friday (1o:30 a.m. ET) in a World Cup tune-up match.
After missing out on September's international window due to injury, Toronto FC midfielder Jonathan Herdman has been recalled into Canada's squad by coach John Herdman. Also named to Canada’s roster were Osorio’s TFC teammates Mark-Anthony Kaye, Richie Laryea, Lukas MacNaughton, Ayo Akinola and Jayden Nelson. For MacNaughton, it marks his first-ever call up to the men’s team.
