The Canadian women's team maintained its perfect run at the Concacaf W Championship with a 2-0 win over Costa Rica on Monday to close out the first round.
In doing so, Canada finished atop Group B ahead of second-place Costa Rica, and set itself up to play Jamaica in Thursday's semifinal, while at the same time avoiding the top ranked United States for the time being.
