CanWNT Talk: All 22 gold medal winners called up for friendlies

Coach Bev Priestman on Tuesday announced her roster for the Canadian women's team's pair of friendlies later this month.
To nobody's surprise, all 22 members of Canada's gold medal team from the Tokyo Olympics have been called up:
Captain Christine Sinclair, Janine Beckie, Kadeisha Buchanan, Gabrielle Carle, Allysha Chapman, Jessie Fleming, Vanessa Gilles, Julia Grosso, Jordyn Huitema, Stephanie Labbé, Ashley Lawrence, Adriana Leon, Erin McLeod, Nichelle Prince, Quinn, Jayde Riviere, Deanne Rose, Sophie Schmidt, Desiree Scott, Kailen Sheridan, Evelyne Viens, and Shelina Zadorsky.
In addition, four training players have been invited in for this international window: Marie Levasseur (Fleury FC), Victoria Pickett (Kansas City NWSL), Jade Rose (Harvard University) and Nikayla Small (Wake Forest University).
Canada hosts New Zealand in a pair of games on Oct 23. in Ottawa and Oct. 26 in Montreal. Canada is ranked sixth in the world, compared to No. 23 for New Zealand.
