Unsung hero Liam Fraser patiently biding his time with Canada
With a pair of assists and 13 caps to his credit, the former TFC midfielder has become a dependable foot soldier in John Herdman’s troop.
Liam Fraser’s international career has been defined by fleeting moments, rather than any sustained run in the Canadian men’s team.
But the Toronto native has made the most of his limited chances with the senior side, coming through in big ways when the team needed him the most.
Fraser began his journey for Canada at BMO Field, making his debut in the Reds’ historic 2-0 win over the U.S. in Concacaf Nations League play on Oct. 15, 2019 - its first victory over the Americans since 1985.
