TFC to host biggest rivals in first round

The 2025 Canadian Championship is going to start off with a bang for Toronto FC.

TFC were drawn against CF Montreal during Thursday night's official draw. That means the Reds will host their biggest rivals in the preliminary round of the competition sometime in April or May (exact date still to be determined). The winner of that game advances to the two-legged quarter-finals where it will face the winner of the first-round match between Forge FC and Halifax Wanderers.
