AFC Toronto adds Japan's Aoi Kizaki to its roster

AFC Toronto keeps adding some international flare to its squad in the buildup to  the inaugural Northern Super League season in 2025.

On Thursday, the NSL club announced the signing of Japanese midfielder Aoi Kizaki (pronounced: Ow-ee Key-za-Kee) to a contract. Terms of the deal were not released.

Kizaki, a 26-year-old from Saitama, becomes the fifth player on AFC Toronto’s squad, joining Canadian forwards Jade Kovacevic and Leah Pais, American defender Croix Soto, and Saint Kitts and Nevis midfielder Cloey Uddenberg.
