Forge FC blanks York United in 1st 905 Derby of the season

NORTH YORK -- Forge FC sure knows how to ruin a homecoming party.
The two-time defending CPL champions rolled into York Lions Stadium on Friday evening and comfortably outplayed York United FC in the first 905 Derby of the season en route to earning 1-0 win.
Mo Babouli scored the lone goal, while York was forced to play a man down for the final 49 minutes after defender Dominick Zator was red carded.
With the win, Forge improved to 5-0-4 and jumped from fourth into third place in the CPL standings. York dropped to 2-3-4 and stayed at fifth in the table.
