The 2024 MLS season kicks off in less than a month but Toronto FC still has a lot of work to do on upgrading its roster.
Thus far the only off-season additions have been Honduran midfielder Deybi Flores and top draft pick and Tyrese Spicer. Major upgrades at the centre back and forward positions are badly needed. In order to bring in new recruits some players from the current roster will first have to be shipped out. But that's proven to be difficult this off-season.
