Jan. 14, 2025: Canadian loaned to Toronto from Granada
Toronto FC has acquired Theo Corbeanu from Spanish side Granada CF on loan for the duration of the 2025 MLS season, with an option to purchase.
Quick analysis: This is a pretty good deal for all parties involved.
Corbeanu, a 22-year-old from Hamilton, Ont., gets to start over and has a chance to finally jumpstart his club career after struggling for playing time at Granada and the host of other teams he's turned out for since turning pro in 2021.
