Toronto FC earns draw in pre-season opener in Spain

TFC settled for a 1-1 result against Norwegian club Fredrikstad FK on Thursday in their first match under new coach Robin Fraser.

Toronto FC played its opening exhibition match of the pre-season on Thursday when it earned a 1-1 draw against Norwegian side Fredrikstad FK in Marbella, Spain.

The game was also TFC's first under new coach Robin Fraser, who finally had a chance to evaluate his team in a somewhat competitive situation as it prepares for its 2025 MLS season opener away to D.C. United on Feb. 22.
