Matches don't get any bigger for Toronto FC than ones against CF Montreal and this weekend's contest is no exception.
Both teams are stuck in a rut (Toronto far worse than Montreal) and are looking to climb up the table in order to feel more secure as the MLS playoff race enters the home stretch.
TFC are coming off a midweek 3-1 road loss to Inter Miami, a game that saw them concede three "cheap" goals, according to John Herdman. That's something the club needed to address going into the weekend.
"We got two days to get ready for Montreal. Massive game. Six-pointer. We'll get after it," Herdman said after the Miami loss.
