Toronto FC vs. Orlando City: 3 takeaways

This has now become serious for Toronto FC.  

What started as a small blip on the radar has blossomed into a full-blown crisis for TFC, who dropped a 2-1 decision to Orlando City at BMO Field on Wednesday.  

Toronto (7-12-3) remains eighth in the Eastern Conference, but has now lost five in a row, is winless in eight and has just one victory in its last 11 MLS games. If things continue on like this, TFC are destined to miss the playoffs for a fourth consecutive campaign.  

"This has to be a turning point for the club tonight… There’s got to be some hard conversations in the next [few] days starting with all of us looking at ourselves in the mirror,” John Herdman told reporters after the game.
