Canada’s Copa América debut ended in bitter disappointment after it suffered a 2-0 loss to Argentina on Thursday at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium before a raucous crowd of 70,564.

The Canadians went toe-to-toe with the World Cup champions for 90 minutes, causing them plenty of fits with their brave attacking play.

Coach Jesse Marsch’s side can take pride in the fact they largely kept Argentina’s high-powered offence in check, thanks in large part to a man-of-the-match effort from goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau.
