Canada is the on the verge of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Copa América following a 1-0 win over Peru on Tuesday in Kansas City.
Jonathan David marked the occasion of his 50 international appearance by scoring the game winner in the 74th minute against Peru, who were reduced to 10 men earlier in the half. Canada now only needs a draw against Chile on Saturday in its group stage finale to advance to the knockout round.
