Toronto FC vs. Atlanta United: 3 takeaways
TFC hit the reset button and put in a solid road performance in Atlanta. But not for the first time this season, they couldn't close things out.
The good news for Toronto FC is that it answered John Herdman's call to reset things and take a more "back to basics" approach in Saturday's road game against Atlanta United.
For more than 90 minutes, TFC looked composed and battled Atlanta stride for stride in a tightly-contested match, and resembled the side from earlier this season that was able to grind out results.
The bad news is that they still found a way to come out on the wrong end of things in a 2-1 loss at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Here are my three major takeaways from Saturday's contest.
