Canadian women's team to face Argentina in 2-game home series
After close to a year of playing on the road, the Canadian women’s team is finally coming home.
Canada Soccer announced on Monday that the women’s side will play Argentina in a pair of international friendlies on home soil during next month’s FIFA international window.
The two nations will meet on April 4 at BC Place in Vancouver and again on April 8 at Starlight Stadium in Langford, B.C.
The Canadian women played 13 games during 2024, 11 of which were away from home. The team hasn’t played at home since last June when it earned a win and a draw in a pair of exhibition matches vs. Mexico in Toronto and Montreal.
