Toronto FC midfielder Deybi Flores has been called up for international duty with the Honduras national team.

In a 1-on-1 interview, Wingo discusses how this year is a chance for him to prove himself after a stunted start to life with Toronto FC.

The Toronto FC wingback has been included in Jesse Marsch's 23-man squad even though he's dealing with a hamstring injury.

Injuries suffered early on his NCAA career tested the character of Toronto FCs top draft pick who recently debuted for TFC 2.

"Playing on the road in MLS is tough, but we can't use that as an excuse for the first three weeks of the season," Matty Longstaff said.
