TFC Talk: Is Robin Fraser being too positive about the Reds?

Toronto FC is still searching for its first win of the season after four games, its latest setback coming in the form of a 2-1 loss to the Chicago Fire in Saturday's home opener.

Coach Robin Fraser tried to put a positive spin on things when asked about his team's effort on the day, referencing the loss of Ola Brynhildsen prior to kickoff and Kevin Long late in the first half due to injuries.

"I'm more excited about this team right now than I've been given the number of setbacks we've had. ... The first 25 minutes or so, I thought we were in really good control and gaining confidence, and scored a fantastic goal. And then as soon as we get a little bit off of what it is we're trying to do, things get away from us a little bit. So, I was disappointed that we lost control again," Fraser said in the post-match press conference.

TFC Republic spoke to fellow Toronto FC beat reporter James Grossi, who also operates the Unattached FC website, about the Reds' latest loss, Fraser's comments, and more.
