Canada booked its place in the final four after posting a 1-0 extra-time win over Costa Rica in Saturday’s quarter-final in Los Angeles thanks to spectacular save by goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan and a timely goal from Evelyne Viens that sent the pesky Central Americans packing.
