TFC's Lorenzo Insigne out for 6 weeks with hamstring injury
The Italian DP is dealing with a hamstring injury that Toronto FC expects to sideline him for six weeks.
Toronto FC’s ongoing injury crisis just got a whole lot worse.
Coach John Herdman confirmed on Friday that Lorenzo Insigne will be sidelined for six weeks with a hamstring injury, a development that deals a crushing blow to a team in the midst of a mounting injury crisis.
Herdman revealed that Insigne had an MRI earlier this week in Toronto and that medical professionals in Europe have also been consulted about his condition. Insigne was present for Friday's training session, but he obviously didn't train with the team.
