Toronto FC vs. Charlotte FC: What you need to know
After collecting four points from two games to begin its 2024 MLS campaign, Toronto FC will finally experience the comforts of BMO Field in this weekend's home opener.
Two TFC players could reach special milestones if they see action, including Federico Bernardeschi who is on the cusp of 50 appearances in all competitions for Toronto.
On March 9, 2013, a 20-year-old Jonathan Osorio debuted for TFC when he came on as substitute for Terry Dunfield in the second half against Sporting Kansas City at the Rogers Centre. Exactly eleven years later, Osorio can become the first player in club history to make 300 MLS appearances. Osorio leads TFC in all-time appearances (343) and ranks as the club's third-highest goal-scorer (62).
Here’s what you need to know about Saturday's contest between TFC and Charlotte FC at BMO Field (2:00 p.m. ET/Apple TV and TSN).
