TFC Talk: Reds set to renew bitter rivalry with CF Montreal

After a midweek loss in Nashville, Toronto FC returns home to host CF Montreal in the first Canadian Classique of the year on Saturday (7:30 p.m. ET/Apple TV).
Montreal (3-6-3) sits 13th in the Eastern Conference, seven spots and seven points behind Toronto (6-6-1). Montreal is winless in its last six games in all competitions and has lost three in a row in MLS, including a 3-1 setback to the Columbus Crew on Wednesday at Stade Saputo.
Toronto and Montreal last met on Aug. 20, 2023, when Montreal earned a 3-2 win at BMO Field. The all-time regular season series between the clubs is dead even with 14 wins apiece and five draws.
