TFC's Osorio, Laryea named to Marsch's 1st Canadian roster
The Toronto FC pair have been included in the Canadian squad for its June friendlies vs. the Netherlands and France.
Jesse Marsch's initial Canadian men's team roster includes a pair of Toronto FC veterans who were key figures for the side under previous coach John Herdman.
Marsch announced his 26-man roster on Monday for a pair of high-profile friendlies versus the Netherlands (June 6 in Rotterdam) and France (June 9 in Bordeaux). Included in his squad are TFC captain Jonathan Osorio and wingback Richie Laryea.
Other familiar names in the Canadian team include fullbacks Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich) and Alistair Johnston (Celtic), midfielder Stephen Eustáquio (FC Porto), winger Tajon Buchanan (Inter Milan), and forwards Jonathan David (LOSC Lille) and Cyle Larin (RCD Mallorca).
