TFC Talk: Reds catching slumping Philly at the right time
After a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to FC Cincinnati on the weekend, Toronto FC returns to MLS action when it visits the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday (7:30 p.m. ET/Apple TV).
Philadelphia (4-4-6) currently sits eighth in the Eastern Conference, two spots and four points below Toronto (7-7-1) in the table. The Union have just one win in their last eight games (with four losses) and are coming off a o-o road draw vs. Charlotte FC.
Toronto and Philadelphia last met on Aug. 30, 2023, when the Reds earned a 3-1 home win. TFC leads the all-time series against the Union with 13 wins and seven draws in 31 regular season meetings
TFC Republic spoke to reporter Jonathan Tannenwald of the Philadelphia Inquirer about Wednesday's game, Philadelphia's season so far, and much more.
