Canada vs. Jamaica: What you need to know
The Canadians will look to finish off the Reggae Boyz on Tuesday in Toronto in the second leg of their Concacaf Nations League playoff.
The Canadian men's team earned its first win over the Reggae Boyz in Jamaica this past weekend after nearly letting the game slip away.
Jonathan David and Stephen Eustáquio scored in a 2-1 victory for Canada who earned its first victory in Jamaica since 1988. Now the Canadians will look to finish off the job in this week's second leg of their Concacaf Nations League qualifier.
“It felt amazing. It’s obviously a very important goal as it gives us the lead. We knew that if we did the job in Jamaica, we’d make things easier for ourselves in Toronto,” Eustáquio said on Monday.
Here’s what you need to know about Tuesday's match (7:30 p.m. ET/OneSoccer) between Canada and Jamaica at BMO Field.
