In the early days of Toronto FC, BMO Field was often described by opposing MLS players as the most intimidating venue to play in the league. It's a reputation the lakefront stadium earned thanks to TFC's loyal fans who lent their vociferous support to the Reds and berated visiting teams in equal measure on game days through the club's first four years in MLS.
