Were you at all surprised by any of this week's roster decisions? I thought for sure that they would let go of Kosi Thompson?

On Monday, Toronto FC announced it had declined its 2025 contract options for goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh; defenders Aimé Mabika and Shane O'Neill; and midfielder Brandon Servania. GM Jason Hernandez said that conversations were ongoing with some of those players about possibly being re-signed to new deals ahead of the 2025 MLS season.

At the same time, Toronto picked up its contract options for goalkeeper Luka Gavran; defenders Kobe Franklin and Kevin Long; midfielders Alonso Coello and Kosi Thompson; and forwards Deandre Kerr and Tyrese Spicer. That means these players will be back for TFC next season.
