Canada vs. Brazil in international friendly: What you need to know

The Canadian women's team continues to prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics when it takes on top-10 nation Brazil in a pair of international friendlies this month.

Canada's last match was a hard-fought 2-1 win over a resilient Jamaica at BMO Field on Sept. 26, a result that allowed Bev Priestman's side to qualify for next year's Olympics where it will have the opportunity to defend its gold medal and reach the podium for a fourth straight time.

The Canadians beat the Reggae Girlz 4-1 on aggregate in their two-game Concacaf Olympic qualifying playoff series, and in doing so they also automatically earned a berth at the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup.

Here’s what you need to know about Saturday's match between Canada and Brazil at Montreal’s Stade Saputo (2:30 p.m. ET/OneSoccer).
