TFC Flashback: Reds hire Jürgen Klinsmann to help fix things

In the latest instalment: We look back to the time that Toronto FC turned to Jürgen Klinsmann as the man it hoped could help things around on the pitch. It didn't work out that way, though.

Toronto FC made major headlines on Nov. 3, 2010 when it announced it had retained the services of former German star Jürgen Klinsmann as a consultant.

Klinsmann and his company, U.S.-based consultancy group SoccerSolutions, were hired as "advisers to Toronto FC as the club reorganizes its soccer infrastructure," the MLS club said in a statement.
