CanWNT Talk: This year threw a lot at Jordyn Huitema

2024 was an interesting year for Jordyn Huitema with a lot of ups and downs.

The highs included playing at this summer's Paris Olympics, solidifying herself in the NWSL with the Seattle Reign FC, and scoring some important goals for the Canadian women's team. The lows included suffering a back injury that sidelined her for several months and the drone scandal that cast a dark cloud over the Canadian team in Paris.

But the lows are now behind Huitema, who'll retune to international action on Friday when Canada faces World Cup champions Spain in an international friendly at Estadio Francisco de la Hera in Almendralejo (4:00 p.m. ET/OneSoccer)

In a one-on-one interview, TFC Republic spoke to Huitema about the match vs. Spain, the drone scandal, coming back from the injury, the Canadian team's interim coaching staff, and much more.
