Saturday's road game in Colorado is the beginning of a gruelling 15-day period in which the Reds will play five times, including next week's Canadian Championship final away to the Vancouver Whitecaps. With the matches coming fast and furious, coach John Herdman will have to rotate through his squad and turn to his bench.
"For us, it'll be a next man up at times, and then it'll be about the fight and spirit of a collective, which I think for all of them, they all get a chance to contribute. And that becomes an exciting period for players: less training, more games, more opportunities," Herdman said.
