Random thoughts on TFC: Tough road ahead in playoff push
With only six games left in the season, Toronto FC has a very steep hill to climb when it comes to locking down a playoff spot.
Some random thoughts I had on Toronto FC during its brief hiatus from MLS due to the international break.
Who's next on Toronto FC to get called up by Canada?
Last week, coach Jesse Marsch unveiled his 23-man roster for this month’s international friendlies against the United States in Kansas City (Sept. 7) and Mexico in Arlington, Texas (Sept. 10).
Those games will be Canada’s first since its fourth-place showing at the Copa América. Nor surprisingly, Toronto FC captain Jonathan Osorio and teammates Richie Laryea made the cut after playing in all six games at the Copa and helping Canada reach the semifinals.
