Bob Bradley on Messi to MLS: 'For me he's the best player ever'
Count Toronto FC coach Bob Bradley among the many who’ll be looking forward to seeing Lionel Messi play in Major League Soccer.
Messi, who turns 36 on June 24, became soccer’s biggest free agent when he recently parted ways with Paris Saint-Germain. Rather than accept an offer from Saudi outfit Al Hilal or former club FC Barcelona, the Argentine ace announced his plans this week to sign with Inter Miami FC.
A contract has yet to be signed between both parties, and there’s no indication as to when Messi will make his MLS debut, although it will more than likely be sometime this summer. Still, the fact that the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner publicly declared his intention to join Miami sent shockwaves throughout the soccer world.
