Tactical breakdown: Michael Bradley relied upon as ever by TFC

Toronto FC is halfway through its 2022 season following a midweek 2-1 loss to the Columbus Crew. Having entered July, it’s that time of year when fixture congestion becomes a major factor for teams to manage.

Beginning on Saturday against the Seattle Sounders, TFC will play seven matches this month – including the 2022 Canadian Championship final against the Vancouver Whitecaps. Therefore, squad rotation will be key as coach Bob Bradley embeds Lorenzo Insigne and Domenico Criscito into the lineup.
