Toronto FC vs. Chicago Fire: What you need to know
TFC looks to extend its unbeaten streak in all competitions to five games when it hosts the Chicago Fire on Sunday.
After clawing its way out of the MLS basement, Toronto FC is now looking to jump over a few more teams and move further up the table.
Toronto rallied for a 3-2 home win over FC Cincinnati on Wednesday, a result that extended its unbeaten run in all competitions to four games (3-0-1). The victory also allowed the Reds to leapfrog Cincinnati and climb out of last place in the league standings.
Four teams are directly above TFC in the table and are all within five points, including the Chicago Fire, who are next up for the Reds and arrive in Toronto with a new coach leading the way (more on that later).
Here’s what you need to know about Sunday’s game (4:00 p.m. ET) between TFC and the Chicago Fire at BMO Field.
