Toronto FC vs. D.C. United: Three takeaways
Burned by goals at the death the previous two weeks, Toronto FC put on its version of "The Late Show" on Saturday evening at Audi Field.
Jonathan Osorio's goal in the 89th minute helped TFC earn a valuable road point in a 2-2 draw against D.C. United, snapping their five-match losing skid in the process. Unlike the losses against Vancouver and Orlando, an injury-depleted TFC side managed to salvage something against D.C., with coach Bob Bradley telling reporters after the game that this hard-fought result could get the team moving forward in the right direction.
"I think it means a lot. It means a lot to the group that they are fighting through this and they get a little something today. They needed that," Bradley said.
Here are my three major takeaways from the game.
